It's time for getting my babies to sprout. No, not my flesh and blood babies, who are not really babies anymore. My spud babies. I saved about a half gallon of baby potatoes from the garden last year to use in this spring's garden. The spud babies have been waiting patiently in my pantry, which by the way, I should show you someday. :) My dear husband made it for me last year and it's the best! Back to babies, spud babies, remember.
I bought a four bags of regular old potatoes from the Market last month and remembered my spud babies. I'm so so excited to start thinking of gardening again. I figure after a couple months, the snow will have melted, the garden will have been tilled, and my spud babies will have sprouted.

So, for now, the potato babies are inside where it's safe and warm, growing roots and awaiting a warm spring day to be planted outside. Isn't God amazing in the ways He designed food?
